Compensation: $250,000–$350,000 base + performance incentives (Negotiable based on needs)

Known for their nimble, in-house approach and personalized service, they consistently outperform larger agencies by delivering results without the bureaucracy. As they continue to scale, they’re seeking a senior-level business development leader to take ownership of new client acquisition and agency growth.
The Opportunity We’re looking for a seasoned agency sales executive—someone with a strong network, a proven track record of closing seven- and eight-figure deals, and the ability to hit the ground running. This individual will lead all new business efforts, focusing on securing clients with annual marketing budgets of $5M+. The ideal candidate is currently driving growth at a top agency and ready to bring their relationships, momentum, and leadership to a more entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full business development lifecycle—from prospecting and outreach to pitch development and contract negotiation
- Identify and pursue high-value opportunities across verticals such as travel, hospitality, lifestyle, and consumer products
- Cultivate and maintain C-suite and VP-level relationships that lead to long-term engagements
- Represent the agency at key industry events, conferences, and networking dinners (travel budget provided)
- Collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling proposals and presentations
- Maintain a healthy pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue goals
- Provide market feedback to optimize service offerings and positioning
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of business development experience in a marketing, creative, or advertising agency
- Demonstrated success closing large-scale deals ($5M+/year) with national or global brands
- Existing network of brand-side decision-makers, ideally in travel, hospitality, or related sectors
- Deep understanding of agency services including digital strategy, paid media, branding, creative, content, and analytics
- Exceptional pitch development, storytelling, and presentation skills
- CRM-savvy (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) with strong pipeline management
- Strategic thinker with a hunter mentality and the discipline to close complex, consultative deals
- Strong organizational and time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines
- Leadership presence that inspires confidence internally and externally
