Our client, a leading hedge fund in New York City, is looking to hire a Receptionist to support their office operations. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, handle incoming calls, and coordinate internal and external meetings. The ideal candidate will bring prior office experience, a polished and professional demeanor, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Previous experience in financial services is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide front desk coverage, including greeting visitors and answering/screening phone calls
- Manage the office calendar and coordinate internal and external meetings
- Offer general administrative support, including oversight of external vendor services
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a reception or office support role, preferably within financial services
- Professional presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
