⏰ Shift: 2nd Shift | 1:00 PM - 10:30 PM | 100% Onsite
đź’µ Pay: $55.15/hr.
(Also Level III with higher pay available)
We are seeking a motivated
Materials & Processes Engineer to join a leading aerospace team, specializing in
composite materials and fabrication. This role is full-time, onsite in Mesa, AZ, with opportunities for long-term career growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Apply chemistry, physics, and material science to composite development and qualification
- Support composite part fabrication, including testing, process validation, and supplier coordination
- Perform root-cause investigations and develop corrective actions
- Create and execute technical test plans, specifications, and reports
- Collaborate with design, production, quality, and procurement teams
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Math, Data Science, or Computer Science
- 2+ years’ experience with Bachelor’s (or equivalent advanced degree/experience)
- Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
- Willingness to work 2nd shift
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with composites, elastomers, and polymer chemistry techniques Required!
- Familiarity with epoxy, cyanate ester, bismaleimide, urethane, polyimide, reinforcements, adhesives Required.
- Knowledge of composite failure modes and analysis Required
- Strong background in technical reports, specifications, and presentations required.
- Comfortable with engineering drawings and Microsoft Office tools
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
