We are looking for a driven, hands-on supply chain leader to join our team as Manager of Supply Chain & Planning. In this role, you’ll lead purchasing, material planning, and production scheduling to ensure seamless operations and on-time delivery of high-quality products. You’ll play a key role in building supply chain resilience, strengthening supplier partnerships, and driving cost efficiencies — all while mentoring and developing the next generation of supply chain talent.

What You’ll Do
- Own the supply chain, purchasing, and scheduling processes to support production goals.
- Partner with engineering, quality, and operations to launch new products and manage change.
- Optimize ERP/MRP tools (JobBOSS/JobBOSS2) to improve scheduling, reporting, and planning.
- Diversify the supplier base to reduce risk and improve continuity.
- Deliver measurable cost savings through smart negotiations and sourcing strategies.
- Lead lean initiatives and transition scheduling from manual to ERP-driven workflows.
- Mentor and coach a junior supply chain team member.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, and company standards.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of supply chain management experience in a manufacturing setting (metals, machining, fabrication, or assembly preferred).
- Background in aerospace/defense strongly preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (JobBOSS/JobBOSS2 ideal) and advanced Excel.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, purchasing, and supplier negotiations.
- Certifications like APICS CPIM/CSCP or ISM CPSM are a plus.
- A hands-on leader who thrives in both strategy and execution, and who can mentor, coach, and hold teams accountable.
Must-Haves
- Purchasing & supply chain expertise – proven experience improving supplier performance, reducing costs, building redundancy.
- ERP expertise – must be very comfortable working within ERP systems (current system is JobBOSS, but any ERP background acceptable).
- Production scheduling knowledge – hands-on ability to plan production tied to material flow and customer demand.
- Leadership skills – ability to lead a small team, mentor, and drive accountability.
- Industrial/manufacturing background – ideal preference for metals or aerospace/defense background, but not a showstopper if no.
- Metals industry background.
