Personal Assistant for CEO of Small Disruptive Fashion Brand (Brooklyn Heights)
Founder of unconventional, growing fashion company seeks Personal Assistant with additional Executive/Office Assistant responsibilities. This is not necessarily a position for someone with a fashion background or even interest in the industry; rather someone who is nice, kind and hardworking. It is very important that you like dogs, because she has a small one that you will also be taking care of. In addition to helping the principal, you will be supporting her COO and helping the office run smoothly while your boss is away. The work setting is close-knit and very friendly. Location will be mix of at the Brooklyn Heights office and the principal’s nearby home.
Requirements
BA/BS from US college
Minimum 3 years assistant experience or equivalent
A steady, quiet, dedicated working style
The ability to take care of a small, well-behaved dog as needed
Familiarity of Google Workspace and other standard software
Ability to troubleshoot standard office equipment
Responsibilities
Filtering, answering, and flagging high-priority emails
Keeping principal’s extensive social calendar
Caring for dog: walking it, arranging for grooming and veterinarian appointments, taking care of it while she is away or arranging for care
Calendar oversight
Coordination with other staff
Travel planning
Errands including grocery shopping
Light house management including vendor sourcing and waiting for deliveries
Interfacing with celebrities and their representatives
Support for COO
Office management such as ensuring everything is well stocked and clean
Anticipating other people’s needs before they do
