AGSE is seeking a seasoned and visionary Vice President of Quality to lead our global quality function. This executive will be responsible for shaping and executing our quality strategy to ensure world-class standards across all facilities, and to ensure that products, services, and processes meet established quality standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in quality systems, regulatory compliance, and supplier quality, with a strong track record in global manufacturing environments. This role will support the delivery of durable, compliant, and high-performing products to a diverse international customer base including OEMs, airlines, MROs, and defense organizations. This executive will oversee quality operations (QC), quality processes and procedures (QA), quality systems, and compliance across all functions of the business.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Quality Strategy & Leadership
- Define and drive a comprehensive, enterprise-wide quality strategy aligned with AGSE’s business goals and customer expectations.
- Harmonize quality systems, processes, and KPIs across all global locations.
- Champion a culture of quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across functions.
Global Quality Systems
- Ensure maintenance and certification of global quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Guarantee compliance with all applicable regulatory, environmental, and customer quality standards.
Manufacturing & Supplier Quality
- Integrate quality assurance into new product introductions (NPI) and throughout the product lifecycle.
- Oversee supplier quality programs including auditing, incoming inspection, and vendor performance management.
- Partner with operations leadership to improve first-pass yield, minimize scrap/rework, and enhance product reliability. Partner with operations leadership to improve first-pass yield, reduce rework/scrap, and enhance product reliability.
Customer Satisfaction & Compliance
- Direct resolution of critical customer quality concerns and systemic escapes.
- Serve as the senior representative during customer audits, quality reviews, and investigations.
- Ensure global adherence to all relevant safety and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, CE, FAA GSE standards).
Organizational Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of regional and site-level quality leaders.
- Align quality organization structure and resources with business growth and strategic initiatives.
- Promote an inclusive and collaborative team environment that emphasizes training, recognition, and development.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive quality leadership experience, including at least 5 years in an executive or multi-site role.
- Expertise in ISO 9001, lean manufacturing, and global supplier quality management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to implement scalable quality strategies in complex, multi-location environments.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in a technical field
- Aerospace/Aviation manufacturing experience
- Master Black Belt
- ISO 9001 or AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification
