Senior Vice President, North East Operations

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Vice President of Operations to lead a large regional division of a national outdoor building products distributor. Reporting directly to the President, this executive will oversee 100+ branch locations across the North East, with $1-2B in annual revenue.
This role offers full P&L ownership, responsibility for regional strategy, and leadership of a high-performing team. The successful candidate will balance operational excellence with growth, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop regional leadership teams to achieve operational, sales, and financial goals.
Drive profitability through effective forecasting, resource allocation, and performance management.
Establish and monitor KPIs across operations, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
Champion a strong safety culture with consistent processes and compliance.
Partner with vendors, suppliers, and customers to deliver solutions and resolve challenges.
Work with the executive team to design and implement policies, infrastructure, and reporting systems that support long-term growth.
Qualifications
10+ years of executive leadership in operations, distribution, or supply chain.
Proven success managing large-scale operations with P&L >$500M.
Strong financial and commercial acumen.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred).
