A market-leading heavy manufacturer is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead a regional network of three major production facilities across the Midwest. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll carry full P&L responsibility for approximately $75 million and set the operational strategy to deliver world-class safety, quality, delivery, and profitability.
Key Deliverables
- Provide executive leadership and P&L ownership for three Midwest manufacturing sites.
- Translate corporate strategy into operational plans that drive growth, margin expansion, and efficiency.
- Build and mentor Plant Managers and functional leaders, creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Lead capital investment and modernization projects, introducing new technology and automation to increase capacity and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with all industrial safety standards and quality systems.
- Achieve measurable productivity and cost improvements through lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and data-driven performance management.
- Partner with supply chain, engineering, finance, and commercial teams to align production capacity and on-time delivery with market demand.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of senior operations leadership in heavy manufacturing, ideally with multi-site responsibility.
- Proven record of $75 million+ P&L ownership and delivering sustainable productivity and profitability gains.
- Strong expertise in industrial safety, quality systems, and large-scale capital project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management or related field (MBA preferred).
