Our client is a global leader in Life Sciences, providing trusted solutions to pharmaceutical and personal care customers worldwide. With a strong track record of innovation and a commitment to advancing operational excellence, they continue to invest heavily in expanding their global footprint.

As part of this growth, they are seeking to appoint a Global Supply Chain Leader (Cosmetics & Personal Care) to lead and transform the division’s end-to-end supply chain. This role will be responsible for building and executing a global strategy that connects commercial requirements with operational delivery across multiple geographies. The successful individual will drive performance, strengthen customer partnerships, and ensure the business is positioned for long-term growth.

Key responsibilities include:

Define and execute the global supply chain strategy for the Pharma & Personal Care division.
Partner with commercial leadership to align supply chain objectives with business goals.
Build strong relationships with customer supply chain leaders to anticipate trends and expectations.
Lead performance delivery across Safety, Quality, Service and Cost, ensuring operational excellence.
Drive alignment and accountability across global manufacturing sites, influencing plant-level teams within a matrix structure.
Oversee initiatives in inventory optimisation, service improvement, cost efficiency, and supplier management.
Establish and implement advanced digital tools and analytics to enhance supply chain visibility and decision-making.
Partner with cross-functional leaders in Logistics, Quality, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, and Commercial to ensure agility and responsiveness.
Develop and mentor future leaders, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

Candidate profile:

Degree educated in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field; Master’s preferred.
15+ years of progressive global supply chain leadership, ideally within Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, or regulated industries.
Demonstrated experience in end-to-end supply chain disciplines, including planning, procurement, logistics, and fulfilment.
Strong knowledge of S&OP, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and supply chain analytics.
Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or similar regulatory frameworks.
Proven track record of driving transformation and delivering measurable performance improvements.
Experience leading through influence in a global matrix organisation.
A customer-focused, results-driven leader with strong change management and stakeholder engagement skills.
