An opportunity has opened for a General Manager to lead a specialist manufacturing business serving the oilfield services sector. The role carries full accountability for operational performance, P&L, and long-term growth of the Houston operation.
The remit covers the end-to-end manufacturing cycle of precision-engineered products deployed in challenging downhole environments. This includes machining, assembly, testing, and quality assurance, as well as the integration of engineering and commercial teams to deliver against customer and market demands.
Key requirements:
- Proven leadership background in manufacturing for oilfield equipment, downhole tools, or related engineered products.
- Demonstrated success managing P&L, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-specification environment.
- Strong technical grounding in machined components, completions or drilling equipment, with the ability to align technical teams to commercial objectives.
- Ability to shape strategy, instill operational discipline, and drive a performance culture while supporting future growth.
