We’re seeking a proven operations leader to take full P&L responsibility for four high-volume food manufacturing facilities across Texas and the South. You will oversee a combined workforce of several hundred employees producing multiple product lines for national retail and food-service customers.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, this is a high-visibility role with significant autonomy and influence. Your mandate is to set the regional strategy and translate it into flawless day-to-day execution—driving plant performance, shaping capital investment, and ensuring each site consistently delivers world-class safety, quality, service and cost efficiency.
You’ll serve as the key link between the executive team and plant leadership, aligning production schedules, supply-chain priorities and continuous-improvement initiatives to meet aggressive growth and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Plant Managers and their leadership teams across four manufacturing facilities.
- Deliver budgeted financial performance, including full P&L ownership and capital planning.
- Drive safety, quality and regulatory compliance to meet and exceed FDA/USDA food-safety standards.
- Champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement to increase throughput, yield and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, quality and commercial functions to meet customer demand and manage service levels.
- Build bench strength and succession plans, creating a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
Experience we are looking for
- Proven experience running multi-site food or beverage manufacturing operations (or adjacent CPG environments).
- Deep understanding of food-safety, regulatory and quality systems.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to unify teams across multiple locations.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable productivity, cost and service improvements.
- Solid financial and analytical skills, including capital project management.
- Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 50–60%) across Texas and the South.
If you’re a decisive operations executive ready to shape a multi-site region and deliver high impact in the food manufacturing sector, apply now.
