A privately held, U.S.-based manufacturer with over 75 years of industry expertise and a strong legacy of innovation and quality is seeking a dynamic Vice President to lead cross-functional operations. This on-site executive role (south metro) reports directly to the President and oversees Marketing, Human Resources, Operations, Engineering, and Project Management. The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision and hands-on leadership to drive organizational alignment and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior on-site executive, executing the strategic vision of the President.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee high-impact initiatives and ensure successful execution of multi-departmental projects.
- Participate in product development stage-gate reviews with decision-making authority.
- Collaborate with department leaders and finance on capital planning and budget strategy.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory developments to maintain market leadership.
- Support process training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate executive-level meetings and provide strategic recommendations based on departmental input.
- Conduct regular 1:1s with direct reports to monitor progress and communicate priorities.
- Chair cross-functional steering committees to drive shared direction and accountability.
- Approve departmental expenses and time-off requests.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of executive leadership experience managing sizable teams or department with demonstrated expertise in operations and engineering environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
- Industry experience in HVAC/R or adjacent manufacturing sectors.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: up to $330,000 (all-in, no bonus structure; stable and predictable earnings).

Work Schedule & Location
- Schedule: 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday), 10-hour days between 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Additional hours may be required during peak periods.
- Location: Fully on-site role in the south metro. On-site presence is essential for collaboration and impact.
