Job Summary

Oversee engineering for new food products from development to commercial launch in manufacturing plants.
Collaborate directly with R&D scientists to specify processing and packaging methods for new and existing products.
Work closely with capital project engineers and manufacturing teams across multiple plant locations.
Provide process and packaging engineering support to several manufacturing sites.
Develop and implement test plans at bench, pilot, and manufacturing plant stages.
Write manufacturing specifications for all new products.
Serve as primary liaison between R&D and Supply Chain during commercialization.
Lead process capability studies for new product launches and existing products.
Provide technical support for cost-saving initiatives, product quality improvements, innovation, new technology, and customer requests.
Ensure compliance with food processing standards, traceability requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Quality Management Systems.
Participate in cross-functional teams to drive safety, quality, and efficiency in product and process development.
Prepare executive summaries, technical reports, and review technical policies and procedures.
Manage multiple priorities and projects, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
Minimal travel required (0-20%).
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, and 5-7 years of relevant process engineering experience, preferably in the food & beverage/CPG industry.
Must demonstrate strong project management, problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
