About OhioHealth
Overview
As one of the most profitable health systems in Ohio, we know that physicians are essential to our system’s success.
OhioHealth’s Physician Recruiting team is a dedicated in-house department, matching physicians to their ideal opportunity within the system. The recruitment team will guide you throughout your search and interviewing process, acting as your advocate from start to finish. This includes outlining details of the position, arranging interviews and facilitating your progression to the onboarding process.
Our network is comprised of over 2,400 of Ohio’s finest physicians. These physicians work in practices, hospitals and ambulatory sites throughout the community. The OhioHealth Medical Specialty Foundation employs over 250 of these physicians in primary care and a wide range of specialties. We have also partnered with independent practicing physicians, to continue to improve the quality and access to care in central Ohio. As the third largest healthcare system in the state and the largest in central Ohio, OhioHealth is committed to creating positive change in our community and the world of healthcare.
As a teaching institute, OhioHealth has over 370 residents and fellows in primary care and a variety of subspecialties. Teaching opportunities are available at these highly respected and reputable teaching hospitals: Riverside Methodist Hospital, Grant Medical Center and Doctors Hospital — the 2nd largest osteopathic training program in the nation. The Heritage Center for Osteopathic Medical Education and its simulation center are taking osteopathic medical education to a new level.
As an innovator of medical education, healthcare professionals from around the world travel to Riverside Methodist Hospital to train at the Center for Medical Education and Innovation (CME+I). The CME+I’s state-of-the-art simulation lab and training facility serves as a gateway to some of the world’s most advanced healthcare technologies. Another vital resource, the OhioHealth Research and Innovation Institute (OHRI), supports our physicians and staff on their quest to improve patient care. Both entities enhance the education of our physicians, residents, fellows and staff as they move toward the future of medicine.
