Position Summary:
The Manager of Project Management is responsible for leading, planning, coordinating, and executing strategic and technical projects across manufacturing operations. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in alignment with organizational objectives. The role emphasizes team leadership, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement across manufacturing initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesCultural Representation

Project & Program Leadership
- Manage multiple large-scale and complex manufacturing-related projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure effective project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and report project status, milestones, risks, and corrective actions to leadership and stakeholders.
Team Management & Development
- Lead a team of project managers, coordinators, and support staff.
- Mentor junior project managers, providing direction, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Set and monitor team performance metrics aligned with business goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, operations, procurement, quality, and electrical teams to achieve project success.
- Interface with customers, vendors, and sales to resolve issues and ensure project requirements are met.
- Manage relationships between internal engineering teams in the U.S. and India to facilitate project coordination.
Process Improvement & Standards
- Drive standardization of project execution practices across departments.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product delivery.
- Coordinate with VP of Engineering and Quality Control to align project standards and deliverables.
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
- Ensure projects and operations adhere to NEC, UL, ISO9001, and general electrical codes.
- Manage UL listing processes and maintain relationships with NRTLs and third-party testing labs.
- Coordinate testing, certification, and audit schedules for new and existing products.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop, implement, and enforce standardized project workflows and documentation.
- Lead strategic planning for manufacturing capacity expansion, process upgrades, and technology integration.
- Maintain advanced knowledge in AutoCAD, drafting systems, Microsoft Dynamics, and data management tools.
- Review and approve change orders and scope adjustments in collaboration with engineering and clients.
- Ensure all outputs are reviewed, validated, and compliant with SOPs and work instructions.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Actively identify and report safety risks or equipment malfunctions.
- Participate in all safety and quality meetings and initiatives.
QualificationsEducation and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial project management.
- 3–5 years of experience managing technical teams in a project or operational setting.
Skills and Certifications
- PMP certification required; Six Sigma or Lean certifications a plus.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, ERP (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), and industrial equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage change.
- Skilled in project planning software and technical documentation.
