front desk receptionist to join our growing team.

Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk area. Monitor the visitor logbook
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person in the building
- Answer phone calls, take messages and re-direct calls as necessary
- Ensure reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail/packages timely and accurately. Sign for deliveries and track all certified mail
- Ensure confidential mail or materials are concealed and securely stored
- Ensure certified mail is delivered to the appropriate person, timely
- Prepare FedEx/UPS shipments and use mail machine for postage/mailings
- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, storing and transcribing documents
- Approve conference room availability
- Coordinate projects and events as needed
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proven work experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role
- Excellent organizational, multitasking and time management skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Experience using office equipment (i.e. phones, computers, printers, fax machines)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Notary certified preferred
