Our client, a rapidly growing and creative marketing startup based in New York City, is seeking a high-energy
Receptionist to be the face of their vibrant office.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$20/hr - $22/hr
Position Overview
As the Receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient front-of-house experience. You will manage the daily flow of guests, calls, packages, and general office coordination, all while bringing your positive energy to the team. This role is full-time, onsite in a vibrant NYC office, Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Responsibilities Of The Receptionist
- Greet visitors, clients, and staff warmly upon arrival.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls and emails professionally.
- Manage all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of shared office spaces.
- Coordinate office supply orders and assist with vendor communication.
- Provide administrative support to team members and leadership as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Receptionist:
- Minimum 1 year in a Receptionist, administrative, or customer-facing role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar).
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Outgoing, personable, and team-oriented.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Receptionist:
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Interest in marketing, branding, or media industries.
- Familiarity with CRM or scheduling software.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma is required.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
