We are looking for a skilled Supply Chain Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. In this role, you will contribute to optimizing supply chain processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the seamless flow of goods from production to delivery. This position is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in supply chain logistics and forecasting to make a meaningful impact within the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate forecasting efforts by collaborating with sales, inventory management, and finance teams to provide visibility into production and inventory needs.
• Work closely with international counterparts to place orders and ensure timely production, delivery, and communication of any required adjustments.
• Support cross-functional initiatives with sales, finance, and customer service teams to meet inventory goals, maintain product availability, and manage warehouse operations.
• Foster collaboration between departments to cover key responsibilities while ensuring alignment with demand planning and warehousing objectives.
• Monitor inventory metrics, such as days of supply and aging inventory, to support efficient stock rotation and reconciliation.
• Ensure two-way communication with international suppliers to address production timing and delivery adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with Italian colleagues to streamline supply chain processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide input and support for maintaining inventory accuracy and achieving supply chain performance targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to collaborate across diverse functions.
• Previous experience in supply chain logistics and forecasting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with global supply chain operations and production planning processes.
• Language proficiency in Spanish and/or Italian is a plus.
• Project management experience is advantageous.
