Executive Responsibilities:
Strategic Quality Leadership & Vision
- Architect and execute comprehensive quality strategies that align with business objectives and position the company as the quality leader in beauty manufacturing partnerships
- Partner with executive leadership and founders to identify transformational opportunities for quality improvement, system investment, and operational excellence initiatives
- Develop and implement best-in-class quality processes that attract and retain partnerships with top-tier beauty companies
- Lead organizational transformation as a change agent, elevating quality culture and capabilities to support rapid business growth and market expansion
Organizational Excellence & Team Development
- Provide visionary leadership to Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, Validation Engineering, and Stability teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Build world-class organizational capability and capacity through strategic talent acquisition, comprehensive development programs, and performance optimization initiatives
- Elevate team competencies and establish quality leadership at all levels to support current operations and future business expansion
- Champion cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing to drive quality excellence throughout the organization
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure enterprise-wide compliance with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications for beauty and personal care products
- Maintain continuous inspection readiness and regulatory excellence through proactive monitoring, assessment, and improvement of quality management systems
- Lead comprehensive compliance programs that exceed FDA, international regulatory, and customer quality requirements
- Oversee master validation plans, quality engineering initiatives, and comprehensive CAPA processes to ensure product integrity and market readiness
Innovation & Process Optimization
- Drive strategic initiatives to revolutionize quality processes through advanced technologies, innovative methodologies, and industry-leading practices
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate process variability while implementing scalable quality improvements
- Utilize advanced data analytics and quality metrics to assess system effectiveness and drive evidence-based decision making
- Lead the development and execution of continuous improvement pipelines that enhance efficiency, reliability, and competitive advantage
Client Partnership & Market Leadership
- Establish quality frameworks that enable successful partnerships with leading beauty brands and support their stringent quality requirements

- Lead customer quality initiatives including complaint management, product disposition, and recall management for both OTC and cosmetic products

Qualifications & Experience:
- Advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical field; additional business education preferred
- 12+ years of progressive quality leadership experience in beauty, personal care, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated manufacturing environments
- Proven track record as a transformational leader and change agent in founder-led or high-growth organizations
- Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling quality organizations, processes, and systems to support business expansion
- Deep knowledge of FDA regulations, international quality standards, and beauty industry compliance requirements
- Executive-level strategic thinking with the ability to translate quality vision into actionable business results
