The chosen candidate will work out of Downers Grove and be responsible for a specified work cell. The ideal candidate will have completed advanced education within management or a related field and have at least 4 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.

A Manufacturing Manager at Flexco can expect starting compensation of between $100,000 and $125,000 per year, depending on skills, experience and education.
Internal employees must be in good standing with Flexco and inform their current manager before applying to any new role.
Purpose: Perform functions to guide and nurture the skills and knowledge of team members to support and achieve company goals and objectives.
What you will need:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Technical knowledge or expert-level experience with specific process
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in manufacturing.
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to direct reports in their growth and success through feedback, instruction, and encouragement.
What you will be doing:
- Managing a team of production professionals within a manufacturing setting
- Performing the role of a safety team member by participating in safety programs and sub-teams.
- Assuring audits are completed on time, implementing departmental safety suggestions, identifying unsafe conditions and managing all aspects of a safety incident
- Learning and understanding quality procedures and inspections and assure compliance.
- Working directly with Quality personal to resolve issues and answer questions.
- Leading and actively implementing a continuous improvement environment.
- Leading team members to achieve company goals by actively managing team performance using data and performance measures.
- Using formal and informal feedback to provide teams with leadership and support
- Taking ownership of the production schedule; anticipate and respond to changes in workflow and deploy overtime as necessary. This includes managing time off requests to ensure appropriate staffing.
- Managing the departmental labor and overhead budget.
- Accountable for meeting and exceeding the safety, quality, delivery, productivity, morale, and inventory goals established by Flexco.
- Meeting annual objectives agreed upon with Operations Manager.
- Identifying capital needs/projects and execution of capital budget.
- Accountable for meeting and exceeding the goals established by Flexco
