Position Description
deciBel Research seeks an experienced Supply Analyst to support the Ground Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System program. The successful candidate is a professional who uses their specialized knowledge to provide provisioning for the program that will help to ensure the provisioning requirements are being addressed and accomplished. They will work with other program personnel including Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, Technical Publications teams, and Government Provisioner's to develop logistics Product Data (LPD). They must understand the various aspects of provisioning, engineering technical drawings, and maintenance concepts in order to support the team.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in supply chain management, business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, manufacturing or a closely related field.
Experience Requirements
- 2+ years with Bachelor's degree or 0 years with Master's degree.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP system
- Experience in MS Office suite.
- Experience in leadership, critical thinking, and innovative behaviors in supply chain projects or roles.
Special Skills Desired
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Experience managing suppliers through the following: cost/schedule/quality.
- Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications.
- Experience with Critical Path Management, FAR and DFARS.
- Experience with Government purchasing and contracting.
- Experience communicating written and verbally in a global supply chain working environment.
