VP, Supply Chain
Our food manufacturing client seeks a passionate and energetic VP of Supply Chain to lead their rapidly growing team in optimizing logistics, planning, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of leadership experience, with a proven ability to drive efficiency, foster collaboration, and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships. This role is onsite in McMinnville, Oregon.
VP, Supply Chain Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Drive production planning utilizing a MRP, direct inventory control strategies, and replenishment schedules to reduce waste and ensure efficiency.
- Oversee and optimize 3PL logistics and transportation, and customer service to ensure on-time deliveries and strong customer relationships.
- Lead warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, and layout optimization for streamlined material flow.
- Responsible for supervision of 45+ direct and indirect reports.
VP, Supply Chain Qualifications:
- Must have food manufacturing experience, with strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
- Proven ability to provide effective leadership over automated warehouse planning and operations for multiple locations.
- Proven ability to manage contracts, negotiations, and cost savings.
- At least 10 years of leadership experience in supply chain management with an emphasis on 3PL, warehousing and MRP planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- SAP experience and proficiency with procurement tools/software.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
