About The Job
Pertaining to our Landrum location - Plans, schedules, and manages QC & Assembly processes. Assists with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials. Ensures assembly performance, volume, and quality goals are met by utilizing efficient methods. Responsible for implementing corporate safety practices and ensuring that all operations are conducted in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all QC & Assembly operations with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
- Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to staff
- Ensure all members of the assembly team are properly trained and supported for each position
- Plan for and execute the efficient QC & assembly of finished goods in timelines provided
- Ensure the team is aware of day-to-day targets and responsibilities
- Maintain assembly schedule on a consistent basis while tracking corresponding paperwork on floor
- Identify, plan, and execute efficiency improvement throughout the QC & assembly process
- Identifying issues with completed parts & assisting in the corresponding RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
- Ensure that the escalation procedure for quality concerns is followed
- Maintain visible lead for adherence to procedures and instructions
- Consistently promote high standards through personal example so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them
- Maintaining the hardware room, which includes but is not limited to picking hardware for upcoming projects, stocking based on min/max levels, & cycle counts
- Liaise and communicate with other departments and ensure an effective interface is maintained
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of management experience in QC, assembly, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read blueprints/part reference drawings and correspondingly identify/understand problems.
- Team facilitation and problem-solving skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
- Hands on mentality- comfortable working on production floor with team.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects/priorities and deliver results in a demanding work environment
- Ability to lead and mentor team members towards company and department goals
- Computer Skills - Teams, Sage (scheduling), Excel, label making
