Summary
The Production Control Manager will manage a team responsible for reviewing all packages and validating budgeted man-hours to complete the work package. Establish progress reports weekly as coordinated with different departments. Ensure parts, materials, and tooling is aligned with production requirements demand or as planned. The Production Control Manager is responsible for coordinating major projects implementation with emphasis on heavy checks and new aircraft inductions, coordinating with the appropriate departments for the accomplishment of that work in accordance with the various requirements driven by the specific modification being implemented. In addition, the position develops system automation to enable process efficiencies and standardization for the Allegiant Air aircraft fleet. Hold a pre‐dock, post‐dock meetings and working party critiques. Additional essential duties include the ability to create new policies and procedures to enhance the established processes.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Education Details: Bachelor's in engineering discipline or an equivalent aviation related degree.
Certification: Yes
Certification Details: Airframe & Powerplant Certification or the equivalent.
Years of Experience: Minimum ten (10) years in aircraft maintenance planning, records, or maintenance program.

- Strong knowledge of production control and regulatory requirements
- Extensive experience in aircraft documentation records
- Aircraft technical skills on airbus A320 or Boeing B737 MAX type aircraft
- Knowledge of an ability to understand and research AD's, IPC's, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Services Bulleting, and Standard Practice Manuals, etc
- Ability to assess complex scenarios and plan outcomes in the most efficient manner
- Excellent written & verbal communications skills. Ability to communicate with ascending levels of management
- Must have experience, knowledge, and understanding of aviation, safety standards, safe operating standards, Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR's) maintenance and airworthiness requirements for air carriers
- Self-motivated problem-solver with professional demeanor
- Ability to prioritize work and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic and flexibility required
- Ability to tactfully manage in order to interface effectively over a broad range of company functions
- Knowledge of and ability to research and audit aircraft records and maintenance check packages
- Ability to locate, understand and extract pertinent information from AIS
- Ability to interface with multiple Airframe Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities and track maintenance check progress/status
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to process analytical routing information
- Ability to work under pressure in a team environment

- Master degree in engineering, MBA or equivalent
Job Duties
- Manage a team of individuals who develop and maintain implementations of major modifications and scheduled heavy maintenance events
- Monitor and track the progress and performance of heavy maintenance execution, identify problem areas, and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare pre- and post-check review meetings and develop vendor scorecards to track vendor performance
- Develop system automation for daily reporting, package preparation, man-hour validation, metric tracking, and performance reviews
- Review packages and validate budgeted man-hours required to complete each work package
- Establish weekly progress reports in coordination with various departments
- Ensure parts, materials, and tooling are aligned with production demand or planned requirements
- Lead pre-dock and post-dock meetings, as well as working party critiques
- Coordinate with Maintenance Control and Dispatch on routing requirements for maintenance
- Approve additions to or deletions from the Heavy Check work scope
- Ensure parts and materials are ordered and routed to the work location to support the planned workload
- Build and review work orders for scheduled heavy maintenance, aircraft inductions, and other special projects
- Ensure direct reports understand and apply our Customer Commitment and customer service standards in their daily responsibilities, as appropriate
- Model Allegiant’s customer service standards through personal actions and leadership
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance Planning and Strategy

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
