We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Operations to lead and optimize daily business activities across multiple departments. This executive role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, driving continuous improvement, and aligning operations with long-term business goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, process management expertise, and a proven track record of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operational functions including production, supply chain, logistics, customer service, and facilities.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that support company objectives and growth plans.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve performance, quality, and efficiency targets.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements to maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with finance, HR, and sales to align operations with company-wide goals.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for operations departments.
- Drive process improvement initiatives using best practices and methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or service-based environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of operational performance metrics and continuous improvement strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
