JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for a Manager of Manufacturing Operations to oversee the Forida Manufacturing Division, ensuring facilities and staff are used effectively. In this role, you will structure and manage daily manufacturing activities according to procedures. This role involves hands-on leadership to improve business efficiency and execute strategic projects supporting North American Operations and Continuous Improvement goals. • Organize management structure and teams for efficient operations. • Oversee product manufacturing to meet performance and quality standards. • Review production reports to ensure safety, quality, financial, and delivery goals are met. • Monitor production stations to address backlog and manpower needs, coordinating with supervisors for solutions. • Identify and resolve production floor process problems with department managers. • Update procedures in production departments to boost productivity. • Request software changes to improve job efficiency and work with teams to implement them. • Participate in meetings to review manufacturability. • Promote awareness of ISO 9000, AS9100, and ISO 14001 standards. • Review and approve equipment purchases, maintenance, and layout. • Develop and manage the departmental budget. • Present project status to Senior Management, including performance, scheduling, budgeting, and costs. • Developing KPI's and delivering them to VP and C-Suite level team members.
