Salary Range: $135,000 - $192,000
What You’ll Do (Essential Duties And Responsibilities)
- Maintain responsibility for overseeing all areas of the production process at the plant location, ensuring that products are manufactured on time and according to cost and quality standards.
- Take the lead role in managing and improving the overall production process for the plant, including: cost, quality, and culture outcomes for the location.
- Develop the manufacturing plan for the plant and ensure that the plan is optimized to reach all established goals.
- Initiate, coordinate, and oversee all major projects within the plant.
- With the help of the production manager, lead and direct the production supervisors to accomplish their team’s goals within the overall manufacturing plan.
- Maintain primary responsibility for hiring, training, and developing staff.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts within the plant staff.
- Establish and enforce policies and procedures for maintaining the highest levels of safety, manufacturing excellence, and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Consult with production supervisors and upper management to identify production inefficiencies and implement plans for their correction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
