As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, quality assurance, and supply chain, to develop and implement robust manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of new products and components
Conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to resolve them promptly
Establish quality control standards and procedures to maintain product integrity throughout the production process
Train and mentor production staff on best practices and manufacturing techniques to enhance capability
Utilize data analysis tools and methods to monitor production metrics and identify areas for improvement
Support the procurement of manufacturing equipment and tools, ensuring alignment with production requirements and budget constraints
Develop and test new manufacturing and assembly cells, appropriate jigs and fixtures to optimize build process and labor efficiencies and quality.
Support in developing and optimizing crew training, developing training literature and manuals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in renewable energy or related industries
Proficient in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools to create and analyze production layouts
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders
Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements in manufacturing environments
