We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Controller to lead and manage all aspects of accounting and financial operations for our small but growing industrial company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is comfortable taking full ownership of the accounting function—from daily transactions to month-end reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and execute all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements
Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and variance analysis for senior leadership
Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
Handle banking, insurance, and vendor relationships as needed
Implement and improve accounting processes and systems to support company growth

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
Proficiency in AS/400 or similar ERP/accounting systems
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience in a small business environment is a plus
