Key responsibilities

Execute the production schedule efficiently to meet operational goals and customer expectations.
Collaborate with site engineers to develop, implement, and maintain effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Build and maintain a high-performing production team through training, coaching, and development.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and Kerry’s internal standards.
Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Manage the production department within established budget parameters.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Partner with the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) officer to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure products meet quality and specification standards.
Identify and implement strategies to minimize production losses and downtime.
Ensure food safety programs are effectively implemented and followed.
Monitor and manage performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications and skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Food Science.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of unit operations in a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Experience with HACCP and food safety standards.
Prior experience in the food industry.

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $64,479 to $105,272 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
