This is a per diem/casual position working 10-hr day shifts on varied weekdays, generally from 7:30am-6pm. Training will be full time hours for about 4 weeks. Located at Scripps Clinic Rancho Bernardo but required to travel to other sites as needed.

- Our highly skilled Specialized Services RNs work in an innovative, welcoming, and patient-centered environment.
- The department consists of 25 chairs and do an average of 55-70 cancer treatments including oncology infusions and supporting treatments.
- The care team includes charge and resource nurses and resources, and you will work in close contact with the clinic provider and their team.
- Treating all malignancy types, we have a compounding pharmacy on site and are proud of our patient outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures, medication administration, chemotherapy/biotherapy administration as appropriate.
- Educate patients and document patient interactions.
- Practice infection control.
- Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice
Required Qualifications
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate.
- Completion of accredited RN program.
- Minimum 1 year RN experience.
- Current CA RN license.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certificate.
- Direct experience administering IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 or more years RN experience in an outpatient Oncology setting.
- Excellent IV skills and experience with central venous catheters.
- Outpatient chemo infusion experience.

Position Pay Range: $59.75-$86.50/hour
