We are seeking an accomplished Operations Director with expertise in nutraceutical ingredients to lead the production processes and uphold exceptional quality standards across their state-of-the-art facility.
Key responsibilities:
- Direct and manage plant operations, including production, maintenance and quality assurance
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes tailored to nutraceutical ingredient standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise plant performance and productivity
- Ensure adherence to industry-specific regulations and safety standards
- Lead, mentor and develop plant staff to achieve operational goals
- Analyse data to identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements and cost reductions
Qualifications/requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering or Science related field
- Lean 6S / Kaizen / SMED process expertise
- At least 5 years experience in plant management withing the nutraceutical ingredient industry
- Strong leadership skills and proven project management capabilities
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Comprehensive knowledge or nutraceutical industry regulations and best practices
