About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on VP of Manufacturing to lead all food production operations across our facilities. You will ensure our plants run safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality while supporting growth and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
Lead Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day performance across multiple food manufacturing plants.
- Build and execute a manufacturing strategy that supports growth, quality, and cost goals.
- Monitor KPIs and drive operational performance across safety, quality, service, and productivity.
- Ensure all facilities meet FDA/USDA, GMP, HACCP, and SQF/BRC standards.
- Partner with Quality to maintain audit-ready plants and a culture of food safety.
- Implement Lean/Six Sigma tools to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
- Improve processes, equipment, and plant capabilities to increase throughput and reliability.
- Oversee budgets, cost controls, and capital investments.
- Identify opportunities to improve yield, reduce downtime, and optimize labor and materials.
- Work with R&D on new product launches and scaling production.
- Partner with Supply Chain to ensure materials availability and reliable production schedules.
- Align with Sales to match capacity with customer demand.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10–15+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Proven success leading multi-site operations.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and standards.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- A people-focused leader who can build strong teams and drive results.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
