We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant/General Manager to oversee all aspects of our HPDC lines and machining operations with full P&L responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aluminum castings and precision machining, with proven leadership skills in managing production, quality, maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for delivering operational excellence, meeting production goals, and driving profitability while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Direct and oversee all plant operations, including casting, machining, quality, and maintenance.
- Develop and execute production plans to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO, IATF 16949, or customer-specific standards).
- Drive lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.).
Team Management
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, including supervisors, engineers, and operators.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
- Oversee workforce planning, training, and performance management.
Production & Quality
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, scrap rate, throughput, and downtime.
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering departments to resolve process issues and customer complaints.
- Ensure consistent product quality and on-time delivery.
Financial & Strategic Management
- Manage plant budget, cost control, and capital improvement projects.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements.
- Participate in strategic planning and execute plant-level initiatives aligned with company goals.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure plant compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
- Promote a zero-incident safety culture with proactive hazard identification and risk mitigation.
Qualifications and Skills
- 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership/plant management role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field preferred.
- Strong background in HPDC operations.
- strong background in aluminum castings and precision machining IS MUST
- Hands-on experience with CNC machining, tooling, and production workflows.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing metrics, lean tools, and ERP/MRP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Financial acumen, with the ability to analyze operational costs and drive improvements.
