PLANT MANAGER
Position Scope
The Plant Manager is responsible for the management of all plant activities related to safety, quality, and productivity. This position is responsible for meeting the needs of the customers, while maximizing operational effectiveness. This position will provide daily direction and leadership to all departments, and ensure compliance to all Company policies and procedures. The Plant Manager is responsible for monitoring performance, setting expectations, and development of staff.
Position Responsibilities
Improved operational effectiveness
- Using Lean manufacturing concepts initiate plans and process which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of staff, equipment, facilities, materials and capital
- Ensure that customer specifications are consistently met or exceeded
- Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports strategic initiatives
- Manage spending against budget and in relation to changes in production volume
- Meet or exceed standards for environmental, safety, working conditions and cleanliness
Develop and implement comprehensive plans to develop employees
- Identify areas of vulnerability and development action plan to address
- Establish group and individual accountabilities
- Address talent deficiencies using established methods
Drive Culture initiatives that focus on engaging our employees and increasing employee engagement.
- Drive continuous progress against culture action plans and support the implementation of countermeasures where appropriate
- Maintain good management relationship
- Facilitate and drive Division Lean initiatives, regular communication meetings and employee recognition activities
Pay Range: $129,700.00 -
$172,900.00
