We are looking for a highly skilled Sourcing Lead with 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing end-to-end sourcing projects to join our Supplier Management Operations team.
You will be responsible for managing end-to-end sourcing projects across various indirect categories, including Marketing and Facilities. This position will reside in our Los Angeles or Los Gatos office and will report to the global leader of Supplier Management Operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support sourcing projects from initiation to completion across various indirect categories such as Marketing and Facilities, ensuring alignment with stakeholder objectives
- Oversee all aspects of the RFx process, including requirements gathering, bid execution, supplier evaluation, and negotiation of commercial terms
- Track project timelines and deliverables, providing updates and comprehensive reporting to leadership and stakeholders
- Support the execution of strategic sourcing initiatives and programs as defined by leadership
- Analyze market trends and supplier spend data to identify opportunities for value creation and operational efficiency
- Provide hands-on training and guidance to internal team members, enabling them to co-lead sourcing projects and enhance their sourcing capabilities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Legal, Risk, Security and others) to ensure alignment and compliance throughout the execution of sourcing projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional partners
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to optimize sourcing operations
Qualities We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Supplier Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain management
- Working knowledge and understanding of supplier management, governance and vendor management processes
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end sourcing projects and leading commercial negotiations
- Experience supporting strategic sourcing initiatives and programs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide actionable insights to support sourcing decisions
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and adherence to strict timelines
- Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively within a high-paced, team-oriented environment
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $60,000 - $240,000.
