Job Description for Materials Manager/ Master Scheduler:
- Coordinate with various departments to develop and maintain the master production schedule
- Analyze production specifications and capacity data to ensure optimal scheduling
- Sales and operations planning
- Monitor inventory levels and production progress to adjust schedules as needed
- Collaborate with production managers to prioritize production orders and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Utilize scheduling software to create and update production schedules
- Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance scheduling efficiency and accuracy
- Generate reports on production performance and schedule adherence for management review
