Job Description
The Senior Vice President, Operational Excellence is responsible for driving operational efficiency through the design, development, and implementation of automated processes across the rental portfolio. This role combines process improvement expertise with implementation of advanced automation technologies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve business outcomes. The Senior Vice President partners closely with field executives, central operations, technology teams, and cross-functional business units to design, implement, and sustain best-in-class workflows, standardized operating procedures, and quality frameworks.

- Provide national leadership and governance over construction and maintenance programs to ensure cost, quality, and timeline excellence across a multi-state portfolio.
- Lead and enforce standardized operating procedures and quality controls across all markets.
- Lead customer experience strategy by aligning operational execution with resident satisfaction, NPS, and service excellence goals.
- Lead enterprise-wide continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and operational excellence frameworks to increase productivity, reduce waste, and elevate service levels.
- Partner with regional and field leadership to optimize resource planning, staffing models, and performance management.
- Own execution of cross-functional, high-impact special projects, ensuring clear scope definition, timelines, risk management, and measurable business outcomes.Champion technology enablement and process automation in field operations to improve visibility, cycle time, and decision-making.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams, developing future leaders and reinforcing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

- Proven experience in process improvement, automation, and client satisfaction.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in automation tools and software.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- 10+ years of operations experience, with 5+ in a senior-level leadership position

Salary Range
Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.
