Catbird is looking for an Inbound/Inventory Assistant Manager to support and lead our warehouse team. The Inbound/Inventory Assistant Manager supports daily warehouse operations by overseeing inbound shipments, inventory control, and stock accuracy. This role ensures the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials while maintaining high levels of accuracy, productivity, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and stock levels
- Manage receiving, inspection, documentation, routing, and quality checks of merchandise and finished goods
- Identify and process damaged or defective inventory and resolve discrepancies or shrink issues
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory counts; report findings and recommendations
- Address vendor compliance issues and coordinate with other teams on shipments, overstock, and aging inventory
- Complete required reporting and documentation accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a clean and safe workspace
- Optimize warehouse layout and product slotting to improve efficiency and accessibility
- Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate staff; manage performance, KPIs, coaching, and corrective actions when needed
- Promote continuous improvement, support system or process upgrades, and identify root causes of operational issues
- Understand customer expectations and work to minimize issues and improve overall efficiency

Compensation: $65,000/year
