WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in intravenous (IV) therapy to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering IV medications, managing IV lines, and providing compassionate patient care. Your skills will be essential in ensuring patients receive the necessary treatments safely and effectively. DAY SHIFT, full and part time positions available. Pay will be $45 an hour!

Responsibilities:
- Administer injections and monitor patients during/post administration
- Administer post-biopsy vital sign checks on patients where applicable
- Access central lines/ports, initiate IV access
- Draw lab specimens peripherally or via central line
- Assist with Hypersensitivity Reactions; provide preliminary exam and vital signs in the event of accident/injury at the center
- Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information
- Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements
- Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals
- Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers
- Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions
- Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting
- Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
- Minimum of 1 year of IV therapy experience required
- Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of intravenous medications
- Valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of patient care
