Our skilled nursing facility in Conneaut, OH is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department. This is a full-time, salaried leadership role offering a comprehensive benefits package.
We are looking to fill this position immediately with a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of Ohio who is ready to make an impact on resident care, staff development, and clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee all clinical and nursing operations within the facility

Ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance

Lead, train, and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, STNAs)

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and care plans

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and facility leadership

Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and performance evaluations

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records

Promote a positive, team-focused culture within the nursing department
Qualifications

Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)

Previous leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing (strongly preferred)

Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, and experience in managing positive survey outcomes

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Ability to work full-time hours and manage a nursing team effectively
