Pacific International has been retained on an exclusive search with a market leader in industrials. They are in search for a Procurement Operations Director to develop the overarching procurement strategy for a global business unit and drive communication and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a people-first leader and credible sourcing expert with strong technical experience. You should be a problem solver and prepared to be a change agent for the business, especially when it comes to stakeholder management and process improvement. This person must be prepared to lead the whole story and global strategy for the team and should be skilled in thinking cross functionally.
Essential Functions:
- Executive presence and presenting to board members.
- Leading and development a team - a leader who will empower others.
- Be a change agent and be ready to challenge ideas.
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, engineering, or related field of study (MBA preferred)
- 20+ years of professional experience in a procurement, operations, sales, or related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Leading contract manufacturing partners.
