Blue Rock Search has partnered with a leading home services franchisor to identify their next Vice President of Operations & Finance. The VP is a key executive role within a private equity–backed, multi-brand home service franchising organization. This leader will drive financial strategy, oversee manufacturing and supply chain operations, support acquisition due diligence, and lead post-transaction integration across all functional areas. The role requires a strong command of financial modeling, operational alignment, and value creation in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating the complexities of franchising while delivering results aligned with investor expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Strategy & Planning
- Partner with the CFO to develop and execute financial models, forecasts, and budgets across brands and business units.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs such as revenue per job, technician utilization, and customer acquisition cost to drive performance.
- Support franchisee financial health through benchmarking, tools, and training.
- Oversee cash flow planning, capital allocation, and reporting to internal stakeholders and private equity sponsors.
Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management
- Lead manufacturing operations for proprietary products, equipment, or branded materials used across franchise locations.
- Oversee logistics and supply chain functions including procurement, vendor management, inventory control, and distribution.
- Implement systems and processes to improve cost efficiency, delivery speed, and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards across all production and logistics operations.
M&A and Value Creation
- Lead operational and financial due diligence for potential acquisitions of home service brands or territories.
- Prepare detailed financial projections and scenario analyses to support investment decisions.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and executive teams to evaluate strategic fit, deal structure, and integration readiness.
- Identify operational synergies and cost optimization opportunities to enhance EBITDA and enterprise value.
Post-Acquisition Integration
- Lead cross-functional integration of finance, HR, IT, marketing, operations, and supply chain across newly acquired brands or territories.
- Align systems, processes, and organizational culture to ensure seamless transitions and rapid value capture.
- Develop playbooks and onboarding frameworks to accelerate integration and performance.
- Champion change management and communication strategies to support franchisees and internal teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in finance and operations, ideally within franchising, home services, or private equity–backed environments.
- Proven success in M&A due diligence, post-merger integration, and operational alignment.
- Experience managing manufacturing and supply chain functions in a multi-unit or distributed service model.
- Strong understanding of franchise systems, unit economics, and service delivery models.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Working knowledge of the Entrepreneurial Operating System.
- Exposure to AI-driven platforms or solutions.
