Job Description
Pay Range: $23.50 to $31.75 per hour.
To provide mechanical and machine maintenance and fabrication support to the Livingston Plant.
- Fabricate and repair equipment from blueprints and sketches (e.g. tables, conveyers, etc.).
- Operate lathe and milling machine.
- Weld using an arc, a heli-arc and gas.
- General cleaning and/or assisting other areas as needed and to maintain safety, housekeeping and follow proper sanitary procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of building and facilities maintenance experience
- Must have good written and verbal English communications skills
- Must be able to interact positively with Plant Production and Maintenance personnel to resolve maintenance issues
- Must be able and willing to work rotating Tuesday - Saturday work weeks
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be trained in lock-out tag-out and safe work practices
- Must be able to bend, stoop walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to climb and work from ladders and in confined spaces safely
- Must be able to work from high altitudes, catwalks and roofs
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds
- Must be able to work on wet concrete floors
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends and times dictated by production equipment requirements/needs
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
