About The Role
We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Head of PD/Production to oversee the full apparel production process — from sourcing and development through delivery. You’ll be the key link between design, merchandising, and our manufacturing partners, ensuring that every style meets our standards for quality, cost, and timing. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on bringing creative ideas to life through efficient process management, strong vendor partnerships, and flawless execution.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end production calendar and ensure milestones stay on track from concept to delivery.
- Source and manage global vendors and factories that meet quality, compliance, and capacity requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to achieve target margins.
- Partner closely with the design team to review tech packs, samples, and fittings in coordination, ensuring all creative and technical details are aligned before production.
- Issue and manage purchase orders, confirm BOMs and pre-production approvals, and monitor COGS performance.
- Oversee goods tracking, logistics, and on-time delivery to distribution centers, coordinating closely with operations team.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication across design, merchandising, planning, and operations.
- Drive continuous improvement across sourcing, vendor management, and production workflows.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of apparel production or product development experience, preferably in a consumer or e-commerce brand.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, manufacturing processes, and production lead times.
- Proven track record of managing multiple vendors and categories simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with Excel and PLM/production tracking tools.
- Highly organized, solutions-oriented, and collaborative.
