Your Role as an Infection Preventionist Nurse:

Develop, implement, and maintain infection prevention and control policies and procedures

Conduct routine infection surveillance and audits throughout the facility

Monitor, track, and report infection data and trends; develop action plans as needed

Educate and train staff, residents, and families on infection control protocols and best practices

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure compliance with CDC, CMS, and state regulations
-
Oversee proper use of PPE, hand hygiene, and sanitation protocols

Serve as the facility’s infection control liaison during inspections and surveys
-
Maintain documentation and reporting required by local, state, and federal guidelines
Who We’re Looking For:
-
Current and valid Registered Nurse ( RN ) or Licened Practical Nurse ( LPN ) license in the state of New Jersey

Certification in Infection Control (CIC) is a plus — or willingness to obtain

Demonstrated knowledge of infection prevention practices, ideally in long-term care or a clinical setting

Excellent communication and teaching skills

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations
-
A proactive, team-oriented professional with a passion for safety and quality
