Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Technician, located in Brownsburg, IN. The Quality Technician will oversee daily quality control activities, including inspecting components and managing quality assurance processes. Responsibilities include conducting quality audits, analyzing data to identify trends, and supporting the quality management system to ensure compliance with industry standards. The technician will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in GD&T, print reading, and conventional inspection techniques
- Operate and program CMM (Calypso and/or Verisurf)
- Process Aerospace FAIR and 9102 inspection documentation including boon drawings.
- Analytical Skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and make recommendations
- Experience in conducting Quality Auditing processes
- Knowledge of Quality Management systems and industry standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, and ITAR standards is highly beneficial
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Technical education or experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
