Our client is seeking a skilled Vice President of Operations to lead production / assembly operations, and supply chain functions for a growing, multi-site organization. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, implementing scalable systems, and developing a high-performing team to support continued growth. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, process-driven leader with deep experience in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, and quality management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all production and supply chain operations across multiple facilities.
- Establish and improve processes, KPIs, and systems to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Manage sourcing, supplier relationships, inventory, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Implement quality programs to ensure consistent output and minimal rework.
- Lead process improvement and cost-reduction efforts across production and logistics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with business goals.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a results-driven operations team focused on safety and productivity.
- Drive change management and continuous improvement as the organization scales.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive operations leadership in a manufacturing setting, including multi-site oversight.
- Proven success implementing process improvements and managing cost efficiency initiatives.
- Strong background in supplier management, inventory planning, and ERP systems.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
