Under general direction, performs major daily and project/program based administrative duties. Recommends and administers divisional/departmental policies and procedures. Prepares regular and special reports related to divisional/departmental operations. Performs other job-related duties as required.Bachelor's Degree in Business/Public Relations or closely related field from a four-year accredited college or university required. Two years of full-time paid experience in government or private industry office administration required. (Substitution: Two years of any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may substitute for each year of college education lacking.) Must be able to operate a personal computer with Microsoft Office Suites.
Additional Duties
Maintain accurate meal counts, delivery logs, and client participation records. Assist with ordering, receiving, and verifying meal deliveries from vendors. Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and nutrition program requirements. Prepare required reports and documentation. Maintain inventory of program supplies and ensure meal sites are adequately stocked. Assist with monitoring visits, audits, and compliance documentation. Provide administrative support, including filing, scanning, record keeping, and preparing correspondence. Assist with all steps of the employee on-boarding process, including preemployment documentation, background checks, and new hire setup. Prepare meeting notes, distribute materials, and follow up action. Communicate effectively with internal staff, vendors, and program participants. Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for reports, correspondence, and data tracking. Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail.
