Role Overview:
The Sr. Director of Supply Chain will lead global operations and supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with both segment-specific needs and corporate objectives. This leader will own the end-to-end supply chain function including:
- Manufacturing and Supplier Quality & Compliance (performance, Test Engineering, ISO certifications and regulatory adherence)
 - Supply Chain & Procurement (vendor selection, negotiation, and lifecycle management)
 - Fulfillment & Logistics (product planning, order fulfillment, shipping, and transportation strategies)
 - HW Repair and Service strategies
 
The role requires strategic vision, operational excellence, and leadership in telecom and hardware-based supply chains, with a strong focus on collaboration with R&D, product management, and global partners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute an operations and supply chain strategy tailored to segment needs and aligned with corporate goals.
 - Oversee 4 core functions: Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Supplier Quality, and HW Repair.
 - Lead global vendor management, ensuring strategic alignment, service quality, and innovation.
 
2. Supply Chain & Operations Management
- Manage a hybrid portfolio of manufactured and purchased products, enhancing global supply resilience.
 - Lead distribution and transportation strategies to meet customer expectations in a growing, international market.
 - Oversee our 3rd party manufacturing partners and product quality, our supply chain operations, including PO management and assembly oversight.
 
3. Product & Lifecycle Alignment
- Collaborate with Product Management and R&D to identify potential products and suppliers that complement Radisys’ portfolio.
 - Align sourcing and procurement with “phase-in,” “phase-out,” and end-of-lifecycle product processes.
 - Maintain close engagement with key customers for planning, capacity, and delivery commitments.
 
4. Compliance, Governance & Process Excellence
- Ensure ISO certifications and regulatory compliance across global operations.
 - Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of SOPs for sourcing, vendor management, and operational efficiency.
 - Maintain supplier quality programs and audits to meet customer requirements.
 
5. Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Manage a team of 10 direct reports, ~20 total staff across global locations.
 - Develop and mentor supply chain and procurement talent, building a robust succession pipeline.
 - Foster a collaborative, performance-driven culture with high accountability and operational excellence.
 
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in operations and product quality, procurement, and fulfillment leadership, ideally in telecom, networking, or hardware-based industries.
 - Proven senior level leadership overseeing multi-site, global supply chain operations.
 - Experience with vendor management, international logistics, and hybrid manufacturing models (third-party and in-house).
 - Strong understanding of ISO certifications, supplier quality programs, and regulatory compliance.
 - Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with R&D, Product Management, and corporate leadership to align strategy with execution.
 - Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
 - Strong negotiation, strategic planning, and leadership skills.
